The Invictus Games Foundation
The Invictus Games Foundation was established in London, England, in 2014 to pursue and develop the legacy of the Invictus Games, Prince Harry’s adaptive sport event for injured, ill and wounded servicemen and women and veterans.
Prince Harry and all parties involved had always hoped that the London 2014 Invictus Games would be just the beginning of the Invictus story and that other cities and countries would take up the challenge and continue the legacy. The success of these Games inspired other nations to step forward to host future Games, with Orlando having recently hosted the 2016 Invictus Games and Toronto to host third Invictus Games in 2017.
The Invictus Games Foundation supports the delivery of future Invictus Games, manages the process of selecting future Games hosts and promotes the importance of sport and physical activity in the rehabilitation journey of wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans.
