The expression: “it takes a village…” could not be more apt in this case. Team Ukraine is participating for the first time at the Invictus Games and the Ukrainian Canadian community in the Toronto area is positively bubbling with excitement.

In this podcast, we get the chance to hear from Ukrainian Canadian community leader, Renata Roman who fills us in with some of the many things planned for the competitors while they are in Canada. It truly is a group effort and one that is meant to touch everyone from the school children, to business leaders and beyond.

As a physio-therapist, Renata is able to speak to the rehabilitation efforts for the soldiers and her observations from numerous trips to Ukraine. It is clear from this podcast just how important coming to Toronto is for the 15 Team Ukraine members and their friends and families.
