It seemed only fitting that a bona fide legend in sports would be the final person to talk about the start of some legendary sports getting ready to take center stage at the Invictus Games Toronto 2017. I am talking of course about CTV’s Brian Williams who has covered 14 Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, the CFL, Pan Am Games and everything in between. His outstanding professionalism has earned him numerous broadcasting awards as well as the Order of Canada.
This was an amazing conversation in which Brian, the consummate sports guy, speaks with great knowledge and insight about the Invictus Games and what he thought it means to the competitors coming to Toronto. He also offers fascinating insight into the importance of television in the grand scheme of story telling.
Speaking of storytelling – Brian has some of the best, and shares quite a few in this entertaining podcast.
