The Invictus Games Toronto 2017 Organizing Committee’s mission is to honour the men and women who have come face-to-face with the difficult realities of service. We will accomplish this by rallying the support of the Canadian public, corporations and governments, and raise awareness and understanding of the sacrifices made by service members, veterans and their families.

However, we can’t do it alone! That is why we are thrilled to be partnering with the WE movement, a global movement that empowers people to change the world, to help us spread the empowering spirit of the Games to youth across Canada.

Our partnership with WE will be a powerful one. Together, we will work to engage Canadian students from coast to coast, educating them about the contributions of our Armed Forces, the challenges faced by military families and the impact of adaptive sport in the rehabilitation of our ill, injured and wounded servicemen and women.

Just as the Invictus Games inspire wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans to take action, empower others and transform lives, so does WE empower youth to make a difference and create transformational change in their communities.

This partnership culminates with WE Day 2017, which will be held on Thursday, September 28, right in the middle of the Invictus Games Toronto 2017! We are thrilled to tell you that We Day 2017 will pay tribute to the Invictus Games, incorporating the compelling stories of our wounded warriors and their families and inspiring youth to take action and give back to our military communities.
