FA: Brand/Marketing

FA Description

The Brand/Marketing function will be responsible for creating awareness and excitement for the Invictus Games Toronto 2017 with the general public through signage, advertising, collateral material, Look of the games, wayfinding and broadcast.

Position Summary

The Brand Crew Member is responsible for overseeing the activities of the host broadcaster and look contractor in terms of aiding them with setting up the look of the Games. When not overseeing the contractors, the crew member should ensure that all Invictus Games Toronto 2017 branding is in good condition and unobstructed whenever possible. Crew members will also be responsible for the successful implementation and oversight of any Brand Legacy initiatives that are being activated.

Tasks

  • Understand the brand guidelines of the Invictus Games Toronto 2017 and ensure that all visible signage is unobstructed
  • Assisting broadcaster and look provider with requirements that include other functional volunteers on venue
  • Effectively implement brand legacy initiative across multiple venues

  • Effectively connect with other venue operational staff in support of look and broadcaster provider. Speak to the general public about the Brand Legacy initiative that is taking place at the activation site.

  • Support requirements of Brand (broadcast and look provider) to ensure maximum impact on venue
  • Assisting in install, transition and support of brand on venue
  • Audit of materials used on venue to ensure signage and wayfinding is consistent with brand standards
  • Communication with other FAs on venue in support of Look and broadcast
  • Communication with general public on brand legacy initiatives
